AKATSA WATER PROJECT – WESTERN KENYA 2024

ABOKIN Inc. & WKC Deliver Living Water to Kenya

A deeply moving and impactful community project that brought clean, accessible water to the people of Akatsa in Kakamega County, Kenya. Spearheaded by ABOKIN Inc. in partnership with the Western Kenya Conference (WKC)of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Akatsa Water Project stands as a powerful testament to the life-changing impact of humanitarian aid combined with faith-based mission. In a region that has long struggled with water scarcity, this project has provided not only a reliable water source but also hope and renewed health to countless families. The video captures moments of celebration, gratitude, and prayer, with community members and church leaders referring to the arrival of clean water as a miracle—thus earning the project the reverent nickname, “God of Water.” Leaders from WKC express their sincere appreciation to ABOKIN Inc. for their generosity and vision, emphasizing how the water well will alleviate suffering, improve hygiene, and support education by reducing the time children spend fetching water. The footage includes scenes of villagers gathering around the new well, singing, and giving thanks, reflecting both spiritual joy and physical relief. More than just a project, the Akatsa Water Project symbolizes dignity, restoration, and the powerful ripple effect that a single well can have when compassion meets community needs. It is a shining example of how purpose-driven partnerships can bring long-term change, especially in underserved rural areas.
